New Construction Home Inspections
A common misconception that many home buyers have is that it is not necessary to have an inspection for new construction homes. Unfortunately due to common practices in the industry, many of the important components of a new home are not done correctly. Beware as many home builders rely on less reputable sub-contractors to perform the work.
Common with new construction, many people assume that new construction implies problem-free home ownership, which is not always the case as contractors and subcontractors sometimes cut corners to save time and money, leaving the unsuspecting home buyers holding the bag for the cost of repairs.
We recommend scheduling a pre-delivery inspection once the following are completed:
- Rough framing
- Electrical and plumbing
- Interior and exterior
